Before you enter

Three things before
the first move.

Make your account, put the essentials beside you, and clear enough room to move safely.

    Register

    Open play.sheen.world, select New here, and create your account. Enter the GM key supplied for your session.

    Email + password + GM key
  2. 02

    Get ready

    Keep these beside you. You will use them to perform actions and draw spells during the quest.

    • Phone stand
    • Paper
    • Pen
  3. 03

    Make space

    Check that your arms and body have room. Keep away from people, furniture, drinks, and fragile objects.

    Choose a safe place and move with care.

The play loop

Choose. Perform.
See what follows.

Every action follows the same rhythm. You decide what to try. The Sheen reads the result and moves the story forward.

    Choose an action

    Open the action panel at the bottom of the screen.

    Use a skill

    Choose the skill and, when needed, select a target.

  3. 03

    Perform it

    Move for the camera or draw the sigil on paper.

  4. 04

    Get the result

    Success, failure, or the wrong target. The story responds.

Hand-drawn spells

Only your hand can carry the spell.

Choose a spell, copy its sigil by hand on paper, then photograph the whole drawing sharply. Images shown on another screen cannot be activated.

  1. 1 Choose a spell and study its sigil.
  2. 2 Copy the sigil by hand on paper.
  3. 3 Photograph the complete drawing and wait.

Combat, wild magic, survival

Let the camera see the whole move.

Use a phone stand, a plain background, and enough light. Step back until your knees are visible before the countdown begins.

  1. 1 Watch the movement silhouette carefully.
  2. 2 Step back and wait for the countdown.
  3. 3 Perform the move once, then wait.
