Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or playing Sheen, you agree to these Terms and to the Sheen Privacy & Data Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sheen.

Sheen is operated by Mealtune Sdn. Bhd. ("we", "us"). You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and supervise your play.

You confirm you are physically able to take part in moderate physical activity (see section 3).

2. How Sheen is played

Sheen is a co-op role-playing game in which your real body is the controller. Outcomes depend on what you physically do, not only on what you tap.

• Physical skills. Each skill is a move designed by our team. To use it in play, you perform that move live on your phone's camera, and it is scored against the authored reference.
• Physical challenges. Some in-game challenges show a move (for example, a jump, dodge or strike) that you must repeat on camera to succeed.
• Magic skills. You create and cast spells by drawing a sigil by hand and uploading the drawing.
• Party play. Groups gather in person or remotely, join each other by QR code, and act in turn.
• Quest locations. Quests are tied to places in the world and may involve check-in at a location.

Because the game rewards precise, repeated movement, you will move your body, sometimes quickly, often several times in a session.

3. Physical risk and your responsibility

Playing Sheen involves real physical activity and can cause injury. Risks include falls, sprains, strains, collisions with objects or people, overexertion, and injury from dropping or striking your device.

You play at your own risk. You alone decide whether and how to perform any move. The game never requires you to perform a move you consider unsafe; you can always stop, skip, or choose a different action.

Before and during play you agree to:

1. Clear a play area free of furniture, stairs, sharp edges, pets and other people.
2. Play on a stable, non-slippery surface with enough light.
3. Warm up, stay within your fitness level, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or discomfort.
4. Keep a safe distance from other players, especially when performing strikes or fast movements.
5. Secure your phone on a stand or have someone hold it; do not hold it while performing a move.
6. Never play while driving, cycling, near traffic, water, ledges or heights, or while impaired by alcohol, drugs or medication.
7. Supervise any minor who plays.

Consult a doctor before playing if you are pregnant, have a heart, respiratory, joint, balance or other medical condition, are recovering from injury, or have a history of seizures. Sheen is a game. It is not a fitness, medical or rehabilitation product, and nothing in it is medical advice.

No responsibility for physical harm. Every move in Sheen is performed by you, in the real world, under your control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mealtune Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible or liable for:

• injury, illness or death you suffer while playing or performing moves;
• injury to other people, including other players, bystanders or minors, caused by your movements or play;
• damage to your device, property, or anyone else's property during play.

You agree to indemnify and hold Mealtune Sdn. Bhd. harmless from any claim brought by a third party for harm or damage you cause while playing.

This section does not exclude liability that the law in your country does not allow to be excluded. Section 6 says more about this.

4. Locations and surroundings

Quests are tied to real-world locations. Visiting a location is your choice and your responsibility. Do not trespass, enter unsafe or restricted areas, or play in public spaces in a way that disturbs or endangers others. Obey local laws and the rules of any venue. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, and meet people you know only through the game in safe, public places.

5. AI Game Master and automated scoring

Sheen uses automated systems, including third-party AI models, to narrate scenes, voice characters, judge answers to in-game questions, and score your sigil drawings. Your physical moves are scored by our own motion engine against reference moves authored by our team.

These systems can be wrong, inconsistent or unavailable. Scores and AI-generated text are game results, not factual statements or assessments of your abilities, and are not guaranteed. If the AI is unavailable, magic spells may not be castable until it returns. AI narration is fiction; do not act on it in real life.

Do not include real people's faces, photographs, personal information or offensive content in drawings or text you submit (see section 6).

6. Accounts, conduct and content

Account. You register with an email and password and are responsible for keeping them secure and for all activity on your account.

Conduct. You will not: harass, threaten or endanger other players; submit unlawful, sexual, hateful or infringing content; impersonate others; cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, spoof motion or location data, or interfere with the service; or reverse-engineer the app except where law allows.

Your content. You keep ownership of the drawings, names, bios, prompts and messages you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process them to operate the game, including sending them to our AI providers as described in the Privacy & Data Policy. Generated content (character cards, skill images, narration) may be used by you for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Termination. You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or create safety risks.

No warranty. Sheen is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, preserved progress or accurate scoring.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim or RM 10,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such a limit is prohibited.

Changes. We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Continued play after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes go to the courts of Malaysia, subject to any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
